Israeli specialists from European Society for Sexual Medicine under the leadership of Yoram Vardi from the Medical Center Rambam (Haifa) believe that impotence can be treated with ultrasound. Twenty men suffering from erectile dysfunction caused by a breaking circulation of the penis took part in an experiment. All participants took two three-week courses of treatment.
Twice per week those men was treated by ultrasonic impulse therapy. During those courses of treatment low power ultrasonic impulses were brought for a few minutes to different areas of the penis. As a result it turns out that sexual function of 15 men became better. Besides, scientists recorded no side effects.
